Want to become a member of the San Bernardino Valley Amateur Astronomers?
is a non-profit organization composed of astronomical societies throughout
the United States.
Their mission is to promote the science of astronomy:
- By fostering astronomical education
- By providing incentives for astronomical observation and research; and
- By assisting communication among amateur astronomical societies.
is dedicated to fostering understanding and goodwill across national and cultural boundaries by creating relationships through the universal appeal of astronomy. SBVAA is a proud afflicate of AWB.
The San Bernardino Valley Amateur Astronomers meet once a month at the San Barnardino County Museum. Also once a month, we have a Star Party where members pack-up their scopes and head off to locations away from the city lights. There are also Outreaches and impromptu star parties. Check out the Calendar for a listing of upcoming events.
