SUMMARY:Outreach - Pioneertown
DESCRIPTION:Note: This is an outreach at Pioneertown with viewings of the M
 oon.\n\nMoon Phase:  4 days after First Quarter \n\n\nSunset: 7:00 pm\n\
nWeather:\n\n\n\n\n\n\nClear Sky Chart:\n\n\nNotes:\nFor those of you visi
ting Pioneertown Preserve for the first time\, please remember to dress wa
rmly\, as the desert nights can be quite cool. Be sure to bring plenty of
drinks and snacks for yourself.\n\nStar Party Etiquette:\nAs with all star
parties\, please observe standard star party etiquette. Some tips: try to
arrive and set up before dark\; use no white light - use red filtered fla
shlights wherever possible - minimize white light from the auto door and d
ome lights\; if you arrive late or plan to leave early\, take care to appr
oach and park so your headlights or backup lights do not shine on other pa
rticipants\; if you leave early or must use white light\, first give a war
ning so observers or astrophotographers can compensate\; please ask before
handling other participant's telescope equipment. Most importantly\, be p
repared to relax and enjoy good company under the night sky.
