Dunlap Elementary School outreach is scheduled for Thursday 6th; 7:30 to 8:30pm. We should set up between 6:30 and 7:30 pm. We’ll have a nice Waxing Crescent Moon and Saturn.

It is scheduled for Friday September 23rd; 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm. We should set up between 6:30 and 7:30 pm. Saturn will be visible in the southwest.  A few other goodies, like Albireo and some clusters may peek through the sky glow.

Bring a hearty appetite and your favorite dish to share and sit down to lots of eating and talking! Everyone always enjoys this feast, and it gives us a chance to relax and socialize in a most pleasant setting.

Martin Carey our esteemed Past President (and all-around nice guy) will bring a large BBQ to the picnic, so that we can enjoy that amenity; the rest is up to you! We can also use paper plates, cups, plastic ware and napkins.

SBVAA is having an outreach for the Boy Scouts at the Burrage Mansion in Redlands on Friday, August 5.  It is scheduled for 7:30 to 9:00 pm. We should set up between 7:00 and 7:30 pm. We’ll set up in a large grassy area (they’ll direct us). We’ll have a crescent moon, plus Mars and Saturn to observe.

Non-meeting this July instead, we are meeting up for dinner and fellowship at the Sizzler off of Waterman.
