Update: Unfortunately the weather is looking cloudy with a chance of rain. The museum has decided to cancel the event.
Remember, there is a museum fee for the general public. Go to the museum’s events page for more information.
We will set up on the far west side of the museum building where there is excellent road access, nearby parking, and a good place to set up our scopes with a wide view of the sky. The event is scheduled from 7:00 to 10:00 pm. We’ll have Jupiter and the moon to observe. Setup time is around 6:30 pm.
Moon: 1 day after First Quarter
Sunset: 5:34 pm
