On May 27, 2023, Chris Clarke and company held a private dedication event for the college’s historic and recently restored 16-inch telescope. The night saw viewings of the first quarter moon, explanations from the five people responsible for the restoration, and an opportunity for members to see the museum that is housed on the first floor, containing lots of antique scientific apparatus and historical information about the Observatory.
