The April 11 Crafton elementary school outreached has been cancelled due to predicted cloudy skies. It will be rescheduled for a future date.

The San Bernardino County Museum outreach is still on for Friday, April 12. Remember to enter through the Edward’s mansion driveway and setup in the museum’s west end gazebo. Also remember that guests to the museum are charged a museum entry fee.

Saturday, March 23 at 7:00 PM is the club’s regular monthly meeting. We will view the video “The Hubble Ultra Deep Field“.

The April 6th star party / outreach has been moved from Whitewater to Oak Glen. The road to Whitewater is still washed out.

The weather got us again. The outreach scheduled for tonight at Mentone Elementary School has been cancelled.

Due to inclement weather, this Saturday’s star party at Pioneertown has been cancelled. We’ll try again next month.

SBVAA will be co-hosting with the San Bernardino County Museum a Cosmic Night total lunar eclipse on Sunday, January 20 at 8:00 PM. We will be offering telescopes to view the eclipse. The museum is charging $10 / adult for entry into the museum which will have other astronomy activities.
