UPDATE: Due to a forecast of clouds with a possibility of thunderstorms, this event has been cancelled. (May 30,20025)
Remember, there is a museum fee for the general public. Go to the museum’s events page for more information.
We will set up on the far west side of the museum building where there is excellent road access, nearby parking, and a good place to set up our scopes with a wide view of the sky. The event is scheduled from 7:00 to 10:00 pm. Setup time is around 6:30 pm. The moon, Mars and Jupiter will be visible.
Moon: 1 day before First Quarter
Sunset: 7:53 pm

Sorry guys and gals but the Outreach for the Museaum has been CANCELLED due to overcast skies. 😢 💧 ⚡
There’s a lot of projected cloud cover during our timeframe and a chance of thunderstorms. 🙁
Will be there. Looking forward to it.
I plan to be there with my C-8, weather permitting.
I will be there with the Carroll. I hope that the current forecast of clouds and chance of rain doesn’t happen!
I will be attending the Museum event, looking forward to it.

Planning on being there.
