This is the first of our two planned weekend trips to Grandview for dark skies observing.  For those going up to Big Pine, CA, we will be at the Noren site in the Cedar Flats campground.  The high’s for Bishop are expected to be in the 90°F with low’s in the 50°F but expect lower night temperatures in the mountains.

In lieu of our regular Club Meeting we will be doing an Outreach.  The outreach is scheduled for Saturday, June 2nd from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm at the East Valley Water District in Highland, CA.  See the event page for details

This Saturday is SBVAA’s May meeting beginning at usual at 7:00 pm or thereabouts. The night’s program is “Gravitational Lensing With Hubble” from How The Universe Works series.

This Saturday we are having an outreach at the Wildlands Conservancy in Oak Glen.  Sunset is at 8:20 pm.  We should setup between 7:00 and 8:30 pm with view starting at dark.  We will going until 10:00 pm.
